The follow-up to fall release of "Used and Abused," pop music artist, Andrew Antone, releases the second single from his upcoming full-length studio album.
SANTA BARBARA, CA - February 8, 2011 — Dubbed 'the hip Josh Groban,' aspiring pop artist, Andrew Antone shows off his astounding vocal abilities on his haunting new single, "You're Not From Here," to be released on March 1, 2011 on Andrew's own label, Relation Records. A showcase of epic proportions, "You're Not From Here" elicits pure, raw emotion set in a contemporary pop framework with a sprinkling of classical overtones.
Produced by Andrew Antone, "You're Not From Here" stems from the musical brilliance of international songstress, Lara Fabian, co-written by Walter Afanasieff, Rick Allison, and John Bettis. The definitive power ballad, "You're Not From Here" articulates the sensations of a tumultuous romance with swelling orchestral movements perfectly accenting Andrew Antone's massive and commanding vocals.
"I have never felt so close to a song," reveals Andrew. "This song perfectly depicts the amorous emotions that I have so agonizingly experienced. It is with the utmost joy that I get to share this song with the world on March 1, my birthday. It is my gift to all, shared with boundless love."
In both an effort to be 'green' and in recognition of the decline of physical compact disc purchases, "You're Not From Here" will be available internationally in digital format only. In addition to www.andrewantone.com, the single can be downloaded from leading online digital music retailers including iTunes, Amazon MP3, eMusic, Rhapsody, and Napster.
Andrew Antone first appeared on the music scene in early 2003 with the release, I CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE. After his national television debut on the late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Andrew quickly left the music scene as his vocal change initiated. Coinciding with high school graduation, Andrew refocused on his music career, resulting in a new studio album, I WILL LOVE AGAIN (2006), featuring his powerful and sophisticated adult voice. Once again, time was not on Andrew's side as he was forced to make the difficult choice postpone musical work in order to concentrate on education. The time away from the industry allowed Andrew to grow intellectually, physically and emotionally. With the successful achievement of both a 118-pound weigh loss transformation and the receipt of his Bachelor's Degree, 2009 marked the close of an epoch in Andrew's life and the beginning of a new period of creativity and freedom. Work on Andrew's musical return began in the spring of 2010 and culminated in USED AND ABUSED (2010), the first of several new projects. Andrew is currently working on a full-length studio album as well as a book humorously dealing with the crises and victories of the endless struggle for physical perfection.
